As a working mother of two, I know just how many plates you are spinning to take care of everything for you and your family!

Being a busy working parent myself, I also understand that you may not have all the time in the world…. Everything we work on together will be designed to work with your life, your interests, and your unique biochemical and genetic individuality.

I live the 80-20 rule, so that occasional glass of wine is balanced with loads of real food, brimming with flavour and healthful nutrients.  My philosophy is not about faddy diets, but in promoting a healthy relationship with food, and your body. You won’t have to buy loads of special ingredients or so-called superfoods, unless you really enjoy getting creative at meal-times!

As a registered nutritional therapist, I also have access to laboratory testing if needed, although where possible  I will always refer you to your GP to access tests available on the NHS.

We have great options available in clinic to help us find out more about the root cause of your symptoms, including stool analysis, all blood tests, urine tests to assess hormone function, toxic metals among others. Many of the tests can be carried out at home.

Any private tests are are not included in the price. My time in interpreting tests, writing reports or liaising with other medical professionals involved in your care is all included.

Healthy is not a weight, it’s not a diet and it isn’t the same thing for everyone

Registered Nutritional Therapist

I’m an experienced, degree qualified, registered nutritional therapist. I’m a full member of the British Association of Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine (BANT) and registered with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC), the register for Nutritional Therapists recognised by the Department of Health.

My training was undertaken at the Institute of Optimum Nutrition and at BCNH College of Nutrition and Health and I qualified in 2011. This technical and clinic training was backed up with a first class BSc in Nutritional Health, so I’ve got the science at my fingertips – but I also walk the walk and you can too.

British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy (BANT)

BANT is the professional body for Registered Nutritional Therapists. Its primary function is to assist its members in attaining the highest standards of integrity, knowledge, competence and professional practice, in order to protect the client’s interests, nutritional therapy and the Nutritional Therapist.
